Peaceful,tranquil paradise.
We,as an extended family rented all four apartments in the property. All the apartments were of an equal high standard so there was no family feeling they drew the short straw. We liked the fact that each family had their own kitchen to prepare and cook their own meals. We especially enjoyed the outside facilities,hot tub,barbeque hut and swimming pool,even in March they were used every day!
Hidden Treasure
Godremamog Mill is a hidden treasure. It sits deep in a wooded valley in the most gloriously spectacular setting. On the day that we arrived there the waters of the adjacent river were rushing through the valley impressively and the water wheel at the mill was turning majestically – what a sight! It is a scene that could have looked just the same over a hundred years ago. Godremamog Mill enjoys the most timeless and unspoiled setting you could wish for and as soon as you arrive there you really feel that you have ‘escaped’. Our hosts Samantha and Chris welcomed us warmly and could not do enough for us. They made us feel that their first priority was to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible and they were the perfect hosts. Our lasting memories of our (all too brief) visit will be walking the wooded valley, which was like the land that time forgot, and sleeping in the four poster bed in the well-appointed ground floor apartment called ‘The Bobbin Box’. We had the bedroom window open and we drifted off to the sound of the waters flowing by. What a joy.
Beautiful location, lovely accommodation
My husband, two children (5 and 4 years old) and myself have just returned from a wonderful week at Godremamog Watermill. The Mill and surrounding gardens/river most definitely have the ‘wow’ factor as it is set in a very tranquil, beautiful, rural location. The accommodation itself (one of four apartments) is very spacious, very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need for self-catering ie fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, a living room with a TV, DVD player and video. An extensive library containing films and books is available for you to borrow as you wish. There is also a communal launderette which is free of charge – a real bonus when you have children.
Great family mini-break with something for everyone…
Great family hideaway holiday location within the heart of the countryside. Beautiful setting and great attention to detail on the part of Samantha and Chris to meet every potential need of their holiday-makers. Equipped with jacuzzi, swimming pool, BBQ hut, games room, terraced gardens with various seating areas, and walks directly from the site itself, Godremamog Mill was ideal for our young family as well as accompanying Granny! Beach locations within easy access, plus other activities such as cycling, nature trails, castles all close by.
We had an amazing time and Godremamog Mill is a very special place!
A totally beautiful place to stay – wonderful accommodation and perfect hosts! We have stayed here for the last 13 years and we will come back again. Sam and Chris have made this the most wonderful place to stay with hot tubs and swimming pools but most of all it has everything we need for a great get away. Aberporth and Pen Bryn beaches, Newcastle Emlyn, woollen mills, Pembrokeshire etc etc – it is just Wales at its best
